L’AINE Foundation has successfully organized its Entrepreneurship Club Open Day and Leadership Training Session on Friday, 20th of October, 2017 at the Head Office of L’AINE Services Limited.
The open day was set aside to give executives and club masters, who steer the operations of the L’AINE Foundation entrepreneurship club in 12 schools, leadership training and the opportunity to witness the work-life activities in L’AINE Services Limited.
The programme started with a facility tour of L’AINE Services, and insightful videos of young entrepreneurs who have made it despite various challenges. The Founder of L’AINE Foundation, Dr. Mrs. Ellen M. Hagan graced the occasion with an inspiring speech: “The can-do spirit” and showed the pupils a video titled, “Yes I can,” where people who are physically challenged played various instruments and partook in different sporting activities. This was to inspire the students and to encourage them that no matter who they are, there is a chance for them to achieve whatever they set their minds to.
The Technical and Vocational Skills Coordinator of Ghana Education Service (GES) – Ledzokuku-Krowor, Mr. Richard Gyimah thanked L’AINE for the initiative, saying that he is sure the programme will inspire the students to aspire for greater heights in their academic activities and in life. He urged the students to be creative and to not stick to only classroom learning.
Other Heads of Department of L’AINE Services Limited: Ms. Blossom Osman (HR Sourcing Manager), Mr. Allen Adjei-Kodom (Head of Finance), Mrs. Nana Adwoa Dei-Awuku (HRBP), and Mr. Kofy Hagan (Director, Strategy and Marketing), oriented the participants on L’AINE Services’ various activities and Mr. Eric Edem Damanka (HR Consulting Officer) facilitated an insightful leadership training to make the Entrepreneurship Club Open Day and Leadership Training Session a success.
The Entrepreneurship Club Open Day and Leadership Training Session saw 106 participants from 12 schools in the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipality Assembly (LEKMA) in attendance.
